The Raoul Wallenberg association was founded in 1979 with the purpose of finding the truth about Raoul's tragic fate in Soviet emprisonment, get him released and to spread the information about his humanitarian deeds to save Jewish lives in Budapest.

The Raoul Wallenberg association was transformed into Raoul Wallenberg Committee in 2000 with the same goals and specially to inspire the young generations to have Raoul as a model - to show that one man can make a difference.
